We are in the full throes of spring over here. The cherry blossoms have popped, we're experiencing 70-degree days, and The Tiny Book Show is revving up for a busy season.
This past Sunday, the Westfield Art Association graciously hosted a tour stop at Gallery U in conjunction with their National Poetry Month celebration. We brought a caravan full of tiny books and had a heaping table of paper, scissors, markers, and other art supplies outside for visitors to make their own small books. It was a warm and welcoming afternoon, and we couldn't have hoped for a better celebration of community and creativity. A HUGE Thank You to Laura Brown (who also has 3 books in the collection!), who worked so hard on our behalf to bring the show to the gallery! The Art Association did a wonderful write-up of the event here: http://westfieldartassociation.blogspot.com/.
