A great accomplishment shouldn't be the end of the road, just the starting point for the next leap forward. ~Harvey Mackay
When we opened our doors in 2017 we had no idea what it would be like to manage a brick-and-mortar space. It’s been equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking, easy and difficult, freeing and restrictive. Nearly 2 years later and we have accomplished so much, have met so many amazing people, and have gathered an incredible community around us. And we are ready to let it go and become a mobile business again.
We want to celebrate all of it with YOU! Join us for our It’s Not Farewell, Farewell: Grand Closing Celebration. Open house-style, drop in anytime from 3-7 p.m. There will be surprise guests, great food from some of our favorite Montclair establishments (including Ruthie’s BBQ and Kreme & Krumbs) music by In Harmony (and hopefully some others who want to help us create a good, old-fashioned hootenanny), emotional speeches, and more! We have loved (nearly) every minute of our time in Montclair and we look forward to celebrating our achievements and sharing a little bit about what’s next for our small business.
It’s also the last day to see our last exhibit “Gashapon” curated by Asha Ganpat, featuring 6 artists, 6 gum ball machines, and 6 chances to buy original tiny art! Buy a $10 token and receive the joy of turning a crank and feeling the plop of an art-filled bubble into your palm! Artists include: Gwen Charles, Montclair; Eileen Ferara, Jersey City; Ellen Some Hanauer, Livingston; Kathleen Heron, Orange; Donna Conklin King, Roseland; and Ann Lepore, Mahwah.
Hope to see lots of familiar faces as we end our time at 28 South Fullerton Avenue.
