The Altered Book: Create a Visual Journal from a Recycled Book

  • The Creativity Caravan 28 South Fullerton Avenue Montclair, NJ, 07042 United States

Using a partially altered, published memoir on death as a three-dimensional sampler, participants will be invited to explore cutting, gluing, painting, weaving, pruning, embellishing, adding, and subtracting to pages of a previously published book as a way to express their feelings, change the story, let go, and see something new.

Art materials will be provided but participants should bring their own volumes to alter, as well as any personal ephemera you would like to incorporate into your piece.
