Join us, along with Stephanie Spitz - a Montclair State University Art & Design Administrator AND our first solo exhibitor at the gallery - for a conversation about the power of art to promote our mental well-being. Art truly does save lives and we'll be discussing how, why, and the ways you can empower yourself by giving creativity more room in your life as a bolster for your mental health.
From Sat, April 1 through Friday, April 9, Montclair Center will host Women's Empowerment Week in locations all over town. Find out more about the robust schedule of talks and classes — from motorcycle riding to nutrition to entrepreneurship— and more.
Talks are free but we encourage everyone to donate to SAVE of Essex, the county’s only designated rape care center and a program of the Family Service League. We'll also be collecting donations of items for SAVE's rape care kits. Items include toothbrushes, and toothpaste, sanitary pads, new T-shirts, sweatpants, socks. We will offer a collection basket for these items so please stop by anytime during Women's Empowerment Week to make your donations.
