In this two-session course, participants will learn traditional origami forms and create a variety of simple and beautiful holiday items to be displayed or given away as gifts. Great for beginner paper artists! All materials are supplied. Presented in collaboration with the Adult School Department of the Montclair Public Library.

Session 1: Thursday, November 9 6:30 - 8:00 PM                                                           Session 2: Thursday, November 16 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Instructor Sandra Yglesias opened a craft magazine and followed the simple instructions to make a star box. It was then and there that she discovered the peace of paper folding. She went on to join Origami USA and found a master teacher to tutor her in the more challenging models, eventually attending the origami convention in Japan. Sandra wants everyone to know that origami is meditative, fun, portable, inexpensive, and joyful!
