If you've been to summer camp you know the sense of delicious freedom, the joy of play, the spirit of the outdoors and moving your body under the heat of the sun. You know the excitement of making choices - art projects and archery and swimming in a cool green lake. Resting in your camp bunk. Sitting under the shade of a tree and daydreaming.
Food for the Soul Train has opportunities for both adults and kids to experience the thrill of camp this summer.
Our camp for grown ups is a unique creativity and bike riding retreat in Pittsfield, Vermont from June 7 - 12. Join us for a unique 4-day, 5-night retreat, which offers a delightful combination of creative experimentation and outdoor exploration.

And for kids. . .
At Food for the Soul Train we believe in empowering girls to be their wonderful, zany, unique selves - to stand out from the crowd, to be confident in who they are, to be socially responsible, and to make a difference in their communities. We have three weeks of summer fun scheduled this year. Our theme is "The United States of You." We'll focus our attention on ways to turn negative energy into positive energy - both in ourselves and in the world around us.
Here's what ten-year-old Ava had to say about her experience last summer:
"The camp is really fun. You get to do things that make you feel good about yourself. It's awesome!"
And from Sophia Gray these words,
"I LOVE camp because we do so many varieties of amazing and DIFFERENT activities, like yoga, making arts and crafts, and getting involved in nature in our community!!! I also love that it is all super fun girls! I look forward to it every year!!!"
So join us for another summer session chock full of yoga, art, and creative writing. Of course, we'll have our dreamy vintage travel trailer/quiet space - complete with our little blue typewriter - where magical moments always happen.
