Happy New Year!

We are thrilled to announce we will be back in the Midwest to experience the kind of winter we kept hearing about in July! Next month you can find us at Three Springs Barn in Lancaster, Wisconsin. Peter Mulvey will be performing at the barn on Friday, February 6 and we'll be in the audience stomping our feet and singing along. The next afternoon, Maya and I will have the incredible opportunity to co-teach our class, Writing the Collective, for 12 lucky signers-up!

This afternoon of joyful immersion will have us tap into a variety of prompts to help you refresh your connection, approach your long-held stories with tenderness and care, and even give you ideas for starting or sustaining a writing practice. Three Springs Barn is a gem of a place and one of the absolute highlights of Type Rider II: The Tandem Poetry Tour. When we met Jeff (who rode some zany hills with us in July) and his wife, Erin, we promised we'd be back at Three Springs some day. And so it shall be!

A few tickets for Peter Mulvey's show are still available and space in our workshop is limited, so let us know if you want to be a part of this incredible event by email us at food4thesoultrain@gmail.com. And please pass these words along to anyone you know who might be interested, too.
